Lake Taupō’s Kakariki Private Charters

I booked this as a surprise for my husband's 30th and invited a group of friends. we had an absolute blast! He thought the beers and boat were it... then came the sea biscuit, a swim in the lake, and some fishing off the back. It just kept getting better. I honestly don’t think I’ll ever top this birthday! Thank you so much!

Really enjoyed our trip on Kakariki. The Skipper gave us a great history of the rocks and all the Bays around Lake Taupo. Was great to stop for a swim out of the wind, we felt like we were the only ones on the boat.

What can I say, yet another amazing trip with Pete on the Kakariki. This has become a regular thing for us and this year we took a whole bunch of additional family visiting from overseas.

We booked Kakariki for my best friend’s hens and it was everything we hoped for... and more! We decorated the boat, cranked the tunes, popped some bubbly and hit the lake. The swim stop was a highlight (Shag Rock, of course!), and the crew made everything so easy. Such a fun, everyone’s still raving about it. Best hens party ever!

Hands down the best way to send off the groom. We booked Kakariki for a bucks and let’s just say... things escalated in the best way possible. Beers were flowing, music was pumping, and the “entertainment” was next level. The crew gave us plenty of space to do our thing while keeping the vibe fun and easy.
